The Denver Nuggets lost to the Dallas Mavericks, 131–121, on Monday. They’ve now dropped four consecutive home games and sit at 14–6 on the season. Their next three games are on the road.

Nikola Jokić recorded his 11th triple-double in 20 games with 29 points, 20 rebounds, and 13 assists. He’s on pace to snap his single-season triple-double record.

Spencer Jones scored a career-high 28 points on 11-of-15 from the field and 4-of-6 from distance. He knocked down multiple shots from the corners, slammed home a big dunk, and even showcased some mid-range touch with a floater.

Unfortunately, outside of those two, Denver did not have a great night offensively. To make matters worse, their defense allowed the Mavericks to shoot 55.8 percent from the field and 51.6 percent from three-point land.

The Nuggets can turn things around on Wednesday when they play the Pacers (4-17) in Indiana.
